Since our founding 60 years ago, we have become a leader in the community and surrounding region of West Central Ohio in the construction industry. Founded originally as Humble Brothers Construction in 1946, it soon became just a single brother, Tracy Humble, running the business and changing the name to Humble Construction. In those early years the focus was primarily on housing construction. Tracy soon built a reputation as a quality contractor. As time went on, Tracy's only son, Terry, a graduate of the Ohio State University with a degree in Civil Engineering, soon rejoined the company full time. Managing his time between the field and office work, Terry took on more and more responsibility and finally took over as President when Tracy retired in 1980.
Terry saw a lot of opportunity in various markets and began to shift the company's focus from housing to commercial and industrial construction. Now, solely focused on that for the past 20 years, Humble Construction has grown in size and experience. With a working crew of around 60 personnel, including those in the office, Humble Construction has taken on the challenge of being a General Contractor with much enthusiasm.
Now in it's 3rd Generation, two of Terry's son's, Matt and Lance, have joined the team adding their specialties and unique talents. Along with high quality Project Managers, Supervisors, Foremen and invaluable office personnel this family owned and operated business is still going strong after 60 years.
